Overview

The Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 Management Pack monitors performance, health and availability of Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster 2003 (CCS). This management pack includes rules that monitor critical CCS services, capture operational errors, and collect important cluster performance counters.

Head Node Compute Node Defines the basic properties of computers running Windows operating systems Finds computers with Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 node manager service installed. Only compute nodes have this service installed. Finds computers with Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 job scheduler service installed. Only head nodes have this service installed. This is a Computer Group which contains all the computers that are discovered as a part of other Computer Groups defined in ManagementPack: Microsoft.Windows.Server.ComputeCluster.2003 Finds computers with Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 node manager service installed. Only compute nodes have this service installed. Finds computers with Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003 job scheduler service installed. Only head nodes have this service installed.
