Overview

The Management Pack (CTP) for Microsoft Azure SQL Database – Managed Instance enables you to monitor the availability and performance of your Managed Instances. Note: This Management Pack is neither part of Microsoft System Center Management Pack for Microsoft Azure nor Microsoft System Center Management Pack for Microsoft Azure SQL Database. This management pack provides monitoring, which is quite similar to monitoring of on-premises SQL Server 2017 provided by the Microsoft System Center Management Pack for SQL Server 2017+. Note: This CTP release covers only a subset of monitors and rules. We will work towards the full functionality as we release new CTPs. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Database Memory-Optimized Data Filegroup container. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Database. An installation of Managed Instance Database Engine. The database engine hosts databases and other Managed Instance components. Microsoft Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Database Memory-Optimized Data Filegroup. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Default Resource Pool. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance User-Defined Resource Pool. Alerts Scope Group contains Managed Instance objects, which can throw alerts. The All Managed Instance objects Group contains Managed Instance objects, which can raise alerts. All Root Objects Group contains Managed Instance objects. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Group. Generic Server Roles Group contains all Managed Instance root objects such as Database Engine instance. Managed Instance Memory-Optimized Data Resource Pool Group contains all Managed Instance Resource Pools that manage Memory-Optimized Data resources. Managed Instance Memory-Optimized Data Scope Group contains all Managed Instance Memory-Optimized Data objects such as Memory-Optimized Data Filegroups, Containers and Resource Pools. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Monitoring Pool. An installation seed for Managed Instance. A template seed for an Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Database Engine to test connection. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Resource Pool Group. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Internal Resource Pool. Azure SQL DB Managed Instance Monitoring Pool Alert Collection. This object is used to collect Windows module errors and warnings from event log of the nodes, which are members of the Managed Instance Monitoring Pool. This template allows you to monitor Microsoft Azure SQL Database Managed Instance.
