To monitor ASP.NET applications and web services, you must install and import either the Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services 7.0 management pack or the Windows Server 2012 Internet Information Services 8.0 management pack. To use this template to monitor a Windows service that is based on the .NET framework with the APM feature, you must install the Windows Service Library management pack, and you must add basic monitoring of the service by using the Windows Service monitoring template.
