Monitors connectivity to the SQL logging database on ISA Server 2006.
This monitor indicates if the connection to the SQL logging database is interrupted. Access to the computer running SQL Server may not have been configured properly.
Check whether access to the computer running SQL Server was configured properly. On the SQL Server Logging Options tab, click Test.
For instructions, see Configure logging to an SQL database. If the test fails:
Review in the Event viewer details for Event ID 21203.
Check that the computer running SQL Server is available.
Check that the SQL database, table, and user permissions are set appropriately.
Check that the remote SQL logging system policy rule is enabled.
Create an access rule allowing access on the port to the computer running SQL Server, if a non-default SQL port (other than 1433) was specified,
Check that the SQL Server memory quota was not exceeded.
Check that DNS lookup to the computer running SQL Server is successful. When using data encryption, reverse DNS lookup queries on the computer running SQL Server should be resolvable to all array members.
Check that log on account used by the Microsoft Firewall Service, you must use the same autorized account to access the SQL database.
