This object monitors the state of a DFS folder (link) target as represented in the namespace’s metadata, and maps the state to the folder target’s entity in Operations Manager. When enabled, this object monitors the availability of a DFS folder (link) target and creates an alert if the folder target is not accessible. This object monitors the initialization of namespace roots and creates an alert if a namespace root doesn’t initialize properly. This object monitors a namespace for the presence of a large number of errors. This object displays the health state of namespace servers, as found in the namespace metadata during discovery. This object monitors the state of synchronization between a namespace server and Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). This object monitors operations that move DFS folders (links) from one location in a namespace to another. This object monitors the removal of DFS folders (links). This object monitors the ability of a namespace server to access namespace data in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and creates an alert if the namespace server cannot access AD DS. Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) sites represent segments of the network with local, high speed network connections. A folder target is the UNC path of a shared folder or another namespace that is associated with a folder in a namespace. Namespace servers (root targets) are servers that host a DFS namespace.
