Summary

The PowerShell failed to execute successfully because PowerShell is not properly installed.

This may affect some monitoring or discovery.

Causes

This can be caused by:

  • An incorrectly targeted rule running a PowerShell script.

  • PowerShell is not installed on the target machine.

  • PowerShell installation is corrupt.

After reviewing the error in the context, check:

That the rule is correctly running on a machine where PowerShell should be installed.

That PowerShell is properly installed.
