Summary

This monitor tracks events that are generated when an administrative operation is performed on the cluster. These events can be reviewed in the Event Viewer, under Applications and Services Logs, in the Windows HPC Server log, with HPCManagement event source. These operations can include deployment and node management administrative tasks. If an operation failed, this monitor will produce a warning.

Causes

This warning is caused by an operation failure.

Resolutions

To troubleshoot and fix this problem:

  • Click on the State Change Events tab.

  • Check the description field in the Details pane for an event description.

  • For more detail, use the PowerShell command that is shown in the event description to check the log of the failed operation.
