Summary

Resource Allocation Problem

The Group Policy service is responsible for applying Group Policy to computers and users. By default, the service starts during computer startup and remains operating until computer shutdown. Errors occurring within the core service usually result in a failure of Group Policy processing.

Resolutions

Correct an allocation failure

This error event is usually resolved when the computer returns from a low resource state. Possible resolutions include:

  • Ensure the computer is not low on memory or available disk space.

  • Restart the computer if it has been operating for an extended period.
