Summary

The Microsoft CRM Asynchronous Processing Service has stopped processing the activity queues of all tenants.

Causes

1. The Asynchronous Processing Service is not running.

2. The Asynchronous Processing Service is experiencing errors while connecting to tenant databases.

3. The Asynchronous Processing Service is not processing tenant queues because it has entered a deadlocked state.

Resolutions

1. If the Asynchronous Processing Service is not running, start the service.

2. Check if there are other alerts corresponding to SQL connectivity issues, and try to resolve them.

3. If none of the above is true, the service must have entered into a deadlocked state. Do the following:

a) Grab a process dump of the Microsoft CRM Asynchronous Processing Service (CrmAsyncService.exe)

b) Restart the Microsoft CRM Asynchronous Processing Service
