Summary

This rule collects this performance counter for reporting/troubleshooting purposes for the counter: PERF_DATACOLLECTION_Agent_LYSS_IO_FAILED_SEC

The per-second rate at which Storage Service failed to enqueue items.

Causes

This can occur due to server overload, Storage Service connectivity issues, or internal errors.

Resolutions

An immediate investigation to find the root cause of this failure by Storage Service to enqueue items is required in order to prevent further data loss and return to a normal state. Looking for error events from the Storage Service will provide a good start to the investigation. Taking this server out of rotation might be necessary to prevent further data loss, to help buy more time to resolve the root cause of the issue and to let the dispatcher queue reduce its backlog.
