Summary

Current number of Storage Service API calls Executing.

Causes

Heavy load may cause the thread counter to go high temporarily but improper handling of errors might cause threads to leak.

Resolutions

If server load is high, this condition will self-heal. But, be sure to check error details in event log. If counter shows steady increase, especially if EWS autodiscover errors exist in the event logs, action must be taken to avoid an out-of-resource condition. The action called for is to kill the "LysSrv.exe" process (which will auto-restart). If the counters continue to grow after restart, consider restarting RTCSRV service. Additionally, investigate cause of EWS failures in the event logs.
