Summary

This object monitors the presence of reparse points in replicated folders and creates a Warning alert if it detects an unsupported reparse point type. It does so by looking for the presence of DFS Replication Event 4406.

Causes

An unhealthy state of this monitor indicates that DFS Replication found an unsupported reparse point in a replicated folder and will not replicate the reparse point.

Resolutions

Remove the reparse point

To prevent this error, move the reparse point outside the replicated folder. For a list of supported reparse points, see the DFS Replication Frequently Asked Questions (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=140270).

Verification

This monitor automatically resets to a healthy state after this issue is resolved.
